This website needed to allow for a range of hiring options, cater to a variety of sectors and visually excite the user. Due to their large product base and client sectors, this site was designed to be large – so it was vital to employ a clear navigation system. The nav was at the heart of our designs; the menu is clear and has a compact and simple feel, despite the size of the website.
We were supplied with a large image and asset library from Motorola. The website was built and designed to accommodate for these, giving an added layer of visual engagement. To use this library to its full potential, we incorporated a secondary menu into the design and development – a tiling system. This grid is a completely bespoke complex build and is responsive on all devices. It allows 2CL to prioritise different information visually, and is easy to manage.
All products are neatly ordered by category, which was essential for usability given the number of products. The UX is further improved by constant subtle guidance through the site, taking users either to product or solution pages.
The website is built in WordPress – a simple, easy to use CMS. Since launch, 2CL have been making the most of their vast asset library, refreshing, updating and adding content and images. This allows the site to stay fresh and to adapt to change, which has served to increase the ROI for 2CL Communication.
In addition to the design, build and launch of 2CL’s new site, we carried out video editing, meticulous image selection and a copy review and edit of the whole website.
